Took Hoya to the emergency. Just to check that the dumplings that she ate was ok. Problem: they contained green onions. Very minimal, but doctor recommends me to make sure.

So I went. And had to call poison control, which I called yesterday but didn’t follow through because of the 100+ consultation fee. They were friendly, which was reassuring. They said it was fine, that even if Hoya ate all the 40 grams of onions, she’s still safe to be monitored at home. But that it very generous already. Had I put a whole onion on the coffee table and not some dumplings with minimal green onions contained in them, then she would’ve easily exceeded the toxic limit. Anyhow, I’m glad nothing’s wrong, and her vital exams are fine too. Just monitor for the next 4 days. She is so precious.

Also, a doggy’s emergency room is like a human hospital for miniature humans. No sterile smells, but very sad to see very sad puppies :(

Once again, wrote a discussion post on the cusp of deadline. I keep pushing it. The thrill of falling…
